Are your gowns vintage?
Our gowns are made by us, from vintage lace.

Where are your gowns made?
All of our gowns are ethically made from salvaged and restored vintage lace, by our ninja dressmakers in our Sydney studio. We respect people and planet.

How do I figure out my size?
Our size chart is here.

Can you make a gown to my measurements?
Yes, we can make any of our gowns to your measurements. We can also make minor customisations to our designs, eg. longer sleeves, shorter hemline or lower neckline.

Do you make plus sizes?
Yes we love curves! We have many ready-made plus size gowns hanging in our bricks-and-mortar store in Sydney. We can also make a gown to your measurements.

I live interstate, do you have any stockists?
No, we sell exclusively through our Sydney store and online store. However you may borrow a sample gown or two, to try on at home. Available to Australian brides only.

How can I borrow a sample gown to try on at home?

I live overseas, can you make a dress to my measurements?
Yes! A fitting is not necessary, most of our customers are from interstate or overseas. We ship anywhere on planet earth.

How long will my custom dress take to make?
Your gown will be finished within 8 weeks. We can make your gown faster for an extra fee.

How much does a made-to-measure dress cost?
Your made-to-measure gown will cost approximately $200 more than a ready-made dress. Please Email us for a quote.

What measurements do you need?
You will need to visit your local professional dressmaker to be measured. 

What if I lose weight after I have purchased a dress?
No problem, our gowns have been designed to be simple for your local dressmaker to make any adjustments, should your measurements change. Alternatively, we can make any last minute adjustments for a small fee.

Do you have any ready-made dresses which I can purchase now?
Yes, we have a number of ready-made gowns in sizes XS to XXL. Visit our online store here.

Do you accept returns?
Yes we accept returns should you change your mind, even on made-to-measure gowns.

Do I need to book an appointment to try on a dress?
Yes. Please Email us to book an appointment. After hours appointments are also available.

How much does an appointment cost?
Nothing. Zero. Zilch.

Can I take photographs during my appointment?
Hell yes.

Do you make bridesmaid dresses?
Hell no.

Where do you source your antique lace?
Our lace is sourced from all over the world, the majority coming from Europe.

Can you send me some lace swatches?
Yes! For free lace swatches please email us with your postal address, and tell us which gowns are your favourite.

What is GST?
GST is a 10% goods and services tax which applies only to Australian customers. International customers are exempt from GST.

Can I reserve a gown?
Yes you may reserve a gown with a 25% deposit. The deposit is refundable should you change your mind.

Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes. Please email us for more details.

What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and direct bank deposit.
