Finally! A free home try-on service for wedding dresses

 

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

 

1. Use our size chart to determine your closest size. 

2. Browse our online store to decide your favourite dresses. Select the "Free Home Try-On" button to add the sample gown to your shopping cart (up to 3 dresses).

3. Follow the instructions to input your credit card or PayPal account details. A temporary hold will be placed on your funds, for $500 AUD per sample dress. You will not be making a payment, only an authorisation for your funds to be held until the sample dresses are returned to us.

4. The box of sample dresses will be delivered to your door. You will have a further 3 business days to try them on. Gather your tribe together for a champagne home try-on party! You may also book a free virtual appointment with us before, during or after your gown try-on.

5. Pack the dresses back into the box and attach the return postage label to the top of the box. Drop off the box at your local post office to be scanned.

6. Once the sample dresses are returned to us, the temporary hold on your funds will be lifted. You will not be charged. There is no obligation to purchase a dress.

Home Try-On FAQ:

Will the $500 stay in my bank account?

The $500 will not leave your account, the transaction will appear in your bank account as "Pending". You will not be making a payment, only an authorisation for your funds to be held until the sample dresses are returned to us. This process is similar to when a hotel swipes your credit card in case you disappear with the contents of the mini-bar. The entire process is facilitated by PayPal so you will be covered by their Buyer Protection program.

 

I live in the USA, can I borrow a dress to try on at home?

Unfortunately at this point in time, our home try-on service is available to Australian brides only. However, you may purchase a ready-made dress then return it for a full refund should it not be suitable.

 

Can I keep the sample dress at home for longer than 3 business days?

Please contact us if you need to keep the sample dresses for longer than 3 business days, otherwise a late fee will be charged to your account at a rate of $30 AUD per day. The 3 business days does not include shipping times.

 

What happens if I accidentally damage a sample dress?

The sample dresses must be returned to us in the same condition as they were sent to you. If they are returned to us with makeup or other stains, a $50 AUD dry-cleaning free will be charged to your account. Other damage such as a broken zip or tear will also incur a $50 AUD charge to your account.

 

What happens if the box goes missing in the post?

We have shipped hundreds of dresses and this has never happened. However, for your peace of mind, we have insured the contents of the box. You won't be charged if the box goes missing before you receive it, or after you have dropped it off at the post office. Your signature will be required upon delivery. If you lose any sample dresses while in your possession you will be charged $500 AUD per lost dress.

 

What if I disagree with the charges to my account?

The payment process is facilitated by PayPal. This means you will be eligible to lodge a dispute through PayPal's Buyer Protection program.
